Design Strategy
To help receive landscape architecture business from the Boulder Country Club, I helped assemble a simple and streamlined design strategy deck in less than 24 hours. With such a quick turnaround and minimal budget, there was no need to develop an extensive strategy. Instead, I created a thoughtful, creative story highlighting the country club pool area. It’s more than just a place to swim; It’s a place where memories are created, laughter is shared, and leisurely days unfold.
The Story
Sometimes even the smallest need can have a big impact. Why not create a compelling story, even if just for the pool inside a country club?
The Big Idea
Inspired by that first swim feeling, the “aquatic allure” big idea highlights the joy of the ideal pool day. Meant to feel upscale but relaxed, inviting but secluded, the pool at Boulder Country Club is intended for year-round enjoyment, escape, and relaxation.

The design principles are meant to be descriptive via imagery, allowing the design, big idea, and concepts to speak for themselves.
